The six new teams of the Family Health Program (PSF), set up by City of Bauru, begin to meet from now. The service is to develop programs of prevention, recovery and rehabilitation of diseases.
Each group is composed of a doctor, a nurse, a nursing assistant, and six community health agents. When enlarged, still account with a dentist, a dental assistant, office and a technical in dental hygiene.
The service has submitted an index of resolving the cases occurred in 90% and the coverage of vaccines and prenatal care to 100%.

As in Brazil, it is expected that the Family Health Units in development in Portugal, by the Ministry of Health, also include technical, oral health, in order to make effective the fight against this disease.
It is imperative and urgent universal access of the Portuguese population, regardless of their economic power, and area of residence, consultations and treatment of oral health.
