497. AIDS patients are enjoying the dental checks

A resolution from the tutelage of Health, published in the Official Gazette, gives the extension of dental checks for patients with AIDS. The patients concerned, to take advantage of the program need to be properly referenced by their family doctor.
The Government has decided to extend the program taking into account the substantial risks to oral health problems that HIV / AIDS represents. The program has included pregnant women, elderly and needy children and youth from public schools until age 16.

A crumb in the ocean of oral health needs of the population, clearly the shameful actions of the central government, which prefers to help people so socially irresponsible.
This continues the policy of oral health in the Ministry of Health, shameful, demagogue and without any discrimination by the real needs of those who work and pay taxes, but they have no right to oral health in Portugal.
