Maxillofacial Surgery - maxillofacial: Specialty which aims diagnosis and surgical treatment of diseases, injuries, injuries and abnormalities of the masticatory apparatus and attachments.
Dentistry: It is the branch of dentistry that deals with the prevention and treatment of diseases and defects affecting the natural teeth. It is the part of dentistry that takes care of dental restorations.
Temporomandibular disorders and orofacial pain: The specialty aims to stimulate research and scientific studies to better understand the diagnosis and treatment of disorders and orofacial pain.
Endodontics: specialty of dentistry that deals with the root canal therapy procedures. Is root canal treatment.
Stomatology: It is the specialty of dentistry that studies the mouth and its diseases.
Imaging dento-maxillofacial: is the name now given to dental radiology. It is in dental radiographs. There are several types of radiographs which the radiologist can make use in dentistry. The most common are periapical, interproximal and the panoramic.
Implantology: It is the area of dentistry dealing with dental implants. It is a new field of dentistry that involves the reconstruction of missing teeth and their supporting structures.
Geriatric Dentistry: Dentistry Part of caring for the oral health of the elderly. It is a new field, but it is here to stay because, with increasing average life of the people, along with the preventive aspects that are being used more and more seniors are in need of dental care.
Dental work: Occupational Dentistry seeks the prevention of oral health worker, since many illnesses undertake individual and collective oral health of workers, requiring special approaches on the production environment, with the diagnosis and risk reduction.
Forensic dentistry: It is the specialty that aims to research psychic phenomena, physical, chemical and biological processes that can reach or be reached by man, dead or alive.

Periodontics: It is a branch of dentistry and constitutes the study, prevention and treatment of diseases affecting the tissues surrounding the teeth. It relates to the treatment of the gums.
Dental prosthesis: Specialty caring replacement of teeth by crowns, fixed bridges, partial and full dentures.
Prosthesis Maxillo-Facial: Specialty of dentistry which restores teeth, jaws and face.
 
Public health: Lens enabling the population, especially underprivileged coverage dental prevention and cure of diseases of the mouth and teeth, through social programs.
