450. Turma do Bem in Portugal, by Oral Health

First of all, congratulations on the excellent blog Oral Health - Health Oral Health in Portugal: news and reviews that bring to light the reality that lies in the oral health of Portuguese. For the same reason, I am grateful for the tremendous source of information and intelligence about the reality of this.

But I write to say that Turma do Bem, whose mission is to change society's perception on the issue of oral health and dental class in relation to social and environmental impact of its activities carried on through our main project, the Dentista do Bem. Founded by a dentist in 2002 in Brazil, a country where the people also suffer from lack of quality public services and the other option are the private dentists: a professional class exploited and undervalued.

Through this innovative project volunteer networks, recognized internationally, we change this reality, little by little: since 7000 are free dentists serving 12,000 children. And other projects such as the Liga do Dentista Limpo or the Dentista Verde bolster and inform our Dentistas do Bem on important issues, run over to everyday life.

We are expanding internationally, we are already present in eight other Latin American countries and with the support of the EDP Foundation, we are implementing the project in Portugal since March. I would love to know the author or the author of the blog, and be able to present our challenges, I believe to be the same blog Oral Health.
