23) Babies can be served free

Araçatuba, Brazil - The mothers of babies under one year of age can register their children for free preventive care and educational Baby Clinic conducted by the FOA / Unesp (Faculty of Dentistry of Araçatuba / Universidade Estadual Paulista).
Children need to have up to one year to join the service, which extends up to three years. All the educational work of prevention and healing is done by students of the graduate and post-graduate and professional training that are in place, under the guidance of teachers in the area of pediatric dentistry.
The first activity is to a lecture targeted to parents. On each day are served 50 babies. Consultations occur every two months and, on average, the baby passes through the service six times a year. Mothers receive guidelines for diet and oral hygiene. The teacher Frederick Robson Cunha explains that the three and a half years the babies receive high and are referred to the clinic for the prevention, which are served free until the eight.
All this work pediatric search invest in oral health since childhood, since the activities to prioritize prevention to ensure that the child is a healthy adult.
