66) Some important guidelines on oral hygiene

1 - Use dental floss between all teeth at least once a day. Follow an order: start behind the last tooth to finish behind the last tooth on the other side. Do this in the arcade above and below;
2 - Clean a dental arch each time, the first higher, after the lower and finally the back of the tongue. Remember that is not excessive force that clears the teeth, but the number of times the tooth brush to scratch the surface of the teeth;
3 - Include brushing in a range of gums, because the gum needs to be rubbed and thus avoids to gingivitis;
4 - Use little toothpaste, a portion equivalent of a pea. Do not swallow the tooth pulp, as the toothpaste is only an aid to brushing;
5 - Make three bochechos with clean water to finish the brushing;
6 - Clean your teeth after meals, eat the sweets and before sleep. Due to the number of hours of sleep, the brushing of the night is one of the most important because the teeth are remineralizam a healthy environment;
7 - People with "High Incidence of Caries", that is, over four caries active, should brush their teeth every time we were feeding;
8 - Parents should narrate and brush their teeth of children; because it is proven that they only buy the notion of three-dimensional dental arcades after several demonstrations;
9 - When choosing your tooth brush to look for one that has small head, soft bristles and a cable of good grip. The brush must be discarded and individual use every three months.
