During the month of March the Portuguese Society of Stomatology and Dentistry (SPEMD) and Colgate promote the 13th edition of Oral Health Month Colgate and SPEMD.
With the aim of preventing oral diseases and enhance education for proper oral hygiene among the Portuguese population, the SPEMD (Portuguese Society of Stomatology and Dentistry) and Colgate held in March, the initiative "Oral Health Month 2012". During this period, hundreds of doctors and dentists dentists throughout the country (including Azores and Madeira) will open the doors of their offices to undertake voluntarily, free dental screenings to the population (no treatment or radiographic examination). For SPEMD and the Colgate Oral Health Month allows the population to have access, free of charge, a full assessment of their state of your oral health and, through a pedagogical way, highlighting the importance of having hygiene oral correct.
