Blog has this rule for alerting the authorities, professional institutions and civil society in general to the necessary reform of the oral health care of the Portuguese population and their integration into the National Health Service, under the same circumstances with the private sector.
In the XXI century makes sense to make every effort so that the Portuguese Ministry of Health consider oral health as a priority within valence of public health, integrating the health care priorities and developing all the means that will allow the elimination of existing shameful accessibility of access to dental care, they are victims in the first grade, children, youth and elderly dependent, resource-poor and geographically distant from large urban centers.
It is urgent to reformulate ethics followed by the current team of the Ministry of Health, with weak or cowardly and submissive disadvantaged with the strong, as it removes the fundamental rights of health established in the Constitution and delivery lucrative business of private health.
Made a thorough analysis of the situation of oral health in Portugal (see the study here, see their analysis on the links that are at the end of text), the Health Ministry and the Directorate - General for Health made a clean sweep of all their findings the same study and threw in the trash, until now there was never any initiative taken by the government in relation to the real needs pressing oral health specified in that study. It is also noted those who through their silence, lets do nothing and everything remains the same situation.
While the Ministry of Health spends hundreds of millions of euros in circulation of tens of thousands of abortions all over the country (does not seem to care that there are older than the workforce in a few years), the protection of child health and youth is an absolute illusion you do not see the end of the tunnel.
Morally and ethically, there are people who are providing a poor service to the country or being in the government wants to support the measures irrational, discriminatory and violative of human rights carried out by the current team of the Ministry of Health.
